Corona Jung: All Metro including Delhi closed till March 31, lockdown may occur in 75 districts

Central and state governments are taking unprecedented steps to prevent the infection of the corona virus. The central government has decided to shut down the metro services across the country by 31 March. States have been advised by the central government to declare the lockout in 75 districts of the country. These are the 75 districts where corona virus positive patients have been found, or are the districts where some people have died due to corona patients.

Central and state governments are taking unprecedented steps to prevent the infection of the corona virus. The central government has decided to shut down the metro services across the country by 31 March. With this, Delhi Metro, Lucknow Metro, Noida Metro, Kolkata Metro, Kochi Metro, Bangalore Metro have been closed. Delhi Metro will not provide any services on 31 March.

Metro closed across the country till 31 March

The central government has informed the managing director of all operational metros in the country that the closure of metro services will help break the Corona transition chain. The Chief Secretaries of all the states have also been informed about this.

The Executive Director of Delhi Metro, Anuj Dayal has said that metro services are closed till March 31 to fight the corona virus infection. However, he said that the internal operational maintenance of the Delhi Metro will continue. In addition, the security of the metro campus will be responsible for the CISF.

Lockout for 75 districts

States have been advised by the central government to declare the lockout in 75 districts of the country. These are the 75 districts where corona virus positive patients have been found, or are the districts where some people have died due to corona patients.

In addition, it has been decided to stop the operation of buses going from one state to another. This decision was taken in a high level meeting. The Chief Secretary, Prime Minister’s Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary were present at the meeting. The state government will issue orders in this regard. However during lockdown, essential services like hospitals, drug shops will continue to operate. State governments may also include new districts in their list of lockouts.

Lockout declared in Uttarakhand by 31 March

Here Uttarakhand government has announced a lockout in the state till 31 March. All transport services in the state will remain closed till 31 March. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that there will be no problem for medical services in the state. The CM has said that in the meantime if someone tries to do black marketing, he will be sent to jail.

In view of the corona infection, all government employees of Madhya Pradesh have been ordered to do official work from home till 31 March. One of the first patients of Corona has been found in Bhopal today. This person has returned from Britain. So far 5 corona patients have been found in MP.

Lockout also in Rajasthan-Punjab

Rajasthan and Punjab have also declared a lockout. However, essential services will continue in the meantime. In Punjab, vehicles supplying vegetables will continue to operate, shops selling vegetables will also be open. Milk supply vehicles, shops selling milk will also continue.
