New Delhi: The Central Government is going to launch four year BEd course from next year. Behind the four-year course, the government is trying to improve the quality of studies. Information about this was given by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on Thursday. Human Resources Development Minister said, “We are going to introduce a four-year integrated B.Ed course.
He said, “The quality of studies has decreased, because being a teacher is the last option of the people.” He said, “Becoming a teacher should be the first one.” It should be a Professional Choice and not Last Option ” Will be able to live, which will save a year for the students.
Presently there is a demand for graduation in order to take the BEd course, so that it takes five years for the students to bead. The new course of BEd will be in three streams BA, BCom and BSc. At the same time, the Union Minister said that 15-20 states will take examinations for class five to eight students from this year.
Human Resource Minister said that due to no detention policy we have lost 10 years of education. He said that 25 states had agreed to end the no-detention policy.
