Paliyakalan-Kheri: A public awareness seminar was organized at Sonha forest post on the occasion of World Wildlife Day. In which people were made aware on protection of forests and wildlife, protection of forests and wildlife from fire and prevention of human wildlife conflict.
In the public awareness program organized on World Wildlife Day in Saunha, village head Sonha Ramesh, Pradhan Dhyanpur Karm Singh, village head Surma Shankar, chairman and members of Eco Development Committees, Sonha, Bandhabhari, Dhyanpur, Sarbhusi, Chandanchowki, Pachpera, Mangalpurwa etc. were present . A painting competition was also organized among the children of Sonha School. In which the students who secured first, second and third positions were encouraged by the award by Chief Conservator of Forest and Field Director, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Sanjay Pathak.
Chief Conservator of Forests Sanjay Kumar Pathak, Deputy Director Manoj Kumar Sonkar Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Division Palia, Wildlife Advocate Dudhwa Tiger Reserve Shashikant Amresh, World Nature Fund Coordinator Dr. Mudit Gupta, Radheshyam, Dudhwa Nature Conservation and Eco Foundation Secretary Liladhar alias Fazlur Rahman, member of the Sonu Katarniaghat Foundation, Prem Chand Pandey of WTI and Officer Bnkti Alok Sharma addressed the program. A photo gallery was also set up for conservation and awareness of animal birds in the program. The awareness program was attended by Om Prakash Singh, Kamla Prasad Pal, Sadanlal Van Daroga, Niyam Kumar Pandey, Vipin Kumar Srivastava, Vijay Kumar, Ajay Sharma of Dudhwa Range. The awareness program was conducted by Sobran Lal.
